About Grove Counseling Collective
Melissa Endsley, LPCC, PMH-C
Grove Counseling Collective is led by Melissa Endsley, LPCC, PMH-C, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than 15 years of experience supporting adults in community, residential, and outpatient settings. Melissa brings a calm, steady presence to her work and is deeply committed to creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Melissa provides individual therapy within a private practice environment and offers specialized support for those navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum transitions, anxiety, and OCD. As a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider, Melissa supports both birthing and non-birthing individuals through the prenatal, postpartum, and beyond phases. The reality that 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 non-birthing partners experience a mood or anxiety disorder during the perinatal period guides her dedication to compassionate, informed care.
What clients often find most meaningful about working with Melissa is her grounded, genuinely human approach. She listens with presence, offers gentle curiosity, and meets people exactly where they are. Her commitment to collaboration extends beyond the therapy room as well; she regularly connects with maternity and wellness professionals to ensure clients have a supportive “village” surrounding them.
Therapeutic Approach
Melissa’s therapeutic work is grounded in providing a warm, validating, and steady presence. Clients often come to Grove Counseling Collective during seasons marked by overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, shifting identities, or the emotional intensity that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, or anxiety-related concerns.
Her goal is to create a space where individuals can pause, breathe, and explore their needs without judgment or pressure. Depending on each person’s goals, sessions may include:
Trauma-informed birth or postpartum planning
Support, education, and treatment for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to address intrusive thoughts
Strategies for managing anxiety and OCD symptoms
Grounding techniques for emotional regulation
Ongoing mental health maintenance and support
Therapy sessions typically last 45–60 minutes, with frequency tailored to individual needs. Some clients seek focused, goal-oriented support for a specific diagnosis; others prefer to use therapy as a consistent space for reflection, maintenance, and emotional wellness. Grove Counseling Collective welcomes both approaches.
Modalities and Clinical Foundations
Grove Counseling Collective integrates several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
Person-Centered Therapy, offering emotional and physical space for clients to process their experiences
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for exploring and shifting unhelpful thought patterns
Mindfulness-based strategies to support presence, grounding, and self-awareness
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, such as distress tolerance and emotional regulation
Across all modalities, Grove Counseling Collective maintains a holistic view of each person’s well-being, acknowledging the connection between mind, body, and emotional health.
The Village Philosophy
The guiding belief behind Grove Counseling Collective is that healing grows in community. While Melissa currently leads the practice, the word “collective” reflects the importance of the broader support system that surrounds each client.
Like the saying “it takes a village,” the Collective recognizes that a combination of personal relationships and professional resources strengthens mental wellness for adults. For many clients, a village may include:
Family, friends, and partners
Therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers
Physical therapy or chiropractic care
Yoga, mindfulness, or other wellness practices
Therapy becomes one meaningful part of this village, working alongside the other supports that help clients feel steady, connected, and cared for.
