Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance & What are your fees?

Yes! We are currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Carelon Insurance programs. We are in the credentialing process with Optum, BCBS, and Medical Mutual. This process may take up to 90 days, depending on the particular insurance company.

If you are not using insurance, we offer a fee-for service option. If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, we can send you a monthly superbill. This is an itemized summary of the services you received. You can submit this to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your provider’s policies.

No Surprises Act
In compliance with the federal No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance, or who are uninsured, an estimate of the expected cost of services prior to the start of care. This is called a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). It is designed to help you understand and plan for the cost of your healthcare services and prevent any unexpected financial surprises.

If you receive an unexpected bill that you believe violates the No Surprises Act, you have the right to dispute the charges with your insurance company or directly with the provider. For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprise

Do you offer a consultation call?

Yes, we offer a free 15 minute initial consultation call. This allows you to see if we would be a good fit for each other and to learn more about our services. Check out our consultation availability through the Book Now link!

What is your Cancelation policy?

We believe that individual accountability is essential in the therapeutic relationship. We will make every effort to give sufficient time and rescheduling opportunities if we need to reschedule. If you need to cancel a session, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancelation of a therapy session. Late-cancelation fees may apply for non-compliance of this policy.

Do you offer both telehealth & in person services?

Yes! We are available for both telehealth and in-person counseling sessions, dependent upon the schedule. If you are scheduled for an in-person session, and are unable to attend, you may always switch to telehealth.

Can you provide me with resources for both community and other professional services?

Yes! It takes a village to thrive! We would love to connect you with supports including but not limited to Outpatient Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Perinatal Massage, Chiropractic services and Lactation. If you have a provider that you love, we would love to connect and share that resource with others!
